A Day of Rest - Food Consumption for April 3rd, 2008

Posted on Apr 4th, 2008 by Robby : Robby Barbaro Robby
Hello everyone,

As you can see, I only ate one meal yesterday.  Around dinner time I felt the effects of traveling from Minnesoa back to Florida and was exhausted.  So, instead of eating dinner, I slept all evening and through the night.

Pa-Pa-Yeah! - Food Consumption for April 5th , 2008

Posted on Apr 6th, 2008 by Robby : Robby Barbaro Robby
Hello everyone,

Papaya is one of my favorite foods. A mono meal of papaya is always a cause for celebration. I must credit Jen Lapan for the title of this post. She is very creative!

I challenge all of you to actually say, “Pa-Pa-Yeah!” out load with enthusiasm. Maybe even pump your fist in the air or something as if you just won a tennis match. If that doesn’t put a smile on your face, I suggest you have someone check your pulse.

Pictures! - Jaboticaba - Food Consumption for April 6th, 2008

Posted on Apr 7th, 2008 by Robby : Robby Barbaro Robby

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I had a unique dinner meal.  I ate a large quantity of jaboticaba.  It is a delicious fruit, but the edible portion is a small percentage of the whole fruit and it takes forever to eat the edible portion.  I measured out 2062 grams and only ate 764 grams.  The pictures will explain.

The picture below shows three items.  First, the jaboticaba.  Second, is a bowl of spinach separate from my salad because I like to eat that variety of spinach all by itself.  It’s jus so delicious I don’t want to experience any other flavor but the spinach flavor when eating it.  Third, a salad with a different variety of spinach, boston lettuce, and tangerines.

The picture below shows how much of the jaboticaba was left over after the meal.

The picture below shows the tree from which I picked most of my jaboticaba at Going Bananas.  Some it came from another tree on Robert Barnums farm.

Woodenware – Papaya Preparation - Food Consumption for April 7

Posted on Apr 8th, 2008 by Robby : Robby Barbaro Robby

Hello everyone,

For those of you interested in owning woodenware, I highly suggest Justenbois products.   http://justenbois.com/

Below is a little tutorial showing how I choose to cut and eat papaya most frequently.  I like to use woodenware to prevent oxidation.  I also like to cut papaya into chunks and eat it out of a bowl.
